Skinwalker

The Skinwalker is an evil witch from Navajo legend; they can take the form of any beast they desire, as long as their are wearing their skin (but, they usually take the form of an owl, coyote, wolf, crow, or fox). To gain these powers, they must commit an evil act: kill one of their beloved family members.

Stone Coat

The Stonecoats are a race of giants twice as tall as an average man; their hide is made up of a thick layer of dark gray skin covered in rock-hard scales-which are almost impenetrable.

Tlanuwa

The Tlanuwa were giant, powerful birds that ruled the skies and mountains. They followed rivers and gliding over villages fearlessly, swooping down to grasp large fish, deer, dogs, and children.

Thunderers

The Thunderers are powerful, magical storm beings that live in sky cities, commanding thunder and lightning from their lofty domains. They are neither bird nor human, a creature only described as being made of the elements and able to the take shape of other beings, like giant hawks and handsome men. Their normal, natural forms are human and bird-like.

Wendigo

The Wendigo is a macabre, frightening figure. Some depict it as a malevolent spirit, others as an entity that can possess others, a human-like monster, or even a creature that was once human. Basil H. Johnston, an Ojibwe scholar, described it as having an ash gray complexion, tattered, bloody lips, and eyes set deep in their sockets, smelling of decay, and being so emaciated that its skin pulled tightly against its bones; it can be summarized as looking like a skeleton dug up from its grave.
