Illustrated pale blue segmented worm with striped frilled sides viewed from above.
Also said to resemble frilly leaves, wet napkins, and sea worms.

Simple Airwafers are Air Rods with a single, half-circle or oval wing on each side of their body, giving them a cracker or wafer shape. These Air Rod species sustain themselves by preying upon Atmoplankton. Spreading wide and floating, they spend much time absorbing sunlight. Their internal batteries powered, they glow, luring food near to them (where they are inhaled by both ends of the animal!). These creatures' hues may be one of many bright yellows, greens, or pale grays. At night, glints of sparkling, yellow light or flashes of green hint at the presence of an Airwafer, as does sharp, clicking sounds.
